Who We Are

Hello everyone my name is Anna Mastroianni, I am the owner of SOLE Shoes. We are celebrating our 23rd year as part of this wonderful downtown community.  We opened in 2001 specializing in imported Italian shoes for children and we quickly added women’s and men’s as well as accessories. To create our unique selection, I travel to Italy twice a year and choose from the very latest, hot off the presses styles and bring them back home to Westfield. We are honored to have people from all over the world come and shop at SOLE and proud of the quality that keeps them coming back. 

Our shoes have been on stage at the Met playing with the New York Symphony, walked the red carpet at the Oscars and Emmys, have gone to countless bat/bar mitzvahs, weddings, communions, father and daughter dances, recitals, important job interviews, first days of school, first date in a long time, traveled to conferences, helped grandma look great while still feeling great, they’ve been the first shoes as those first precious steps are taken, kept toes warm and dry during winter months, made one feel confident just when needed.  They have walked the moments that are meaningful to our customers and made them feel comfortable and stylish in their everyday.

Knowing our customers’ stories and having their trust that we’ll find them just the right pair, especially for them is my motivation. As a matter of fact, when doing my buying a customer’s face will always flash in my mind Oh Nicole would love that or Paul hasn’t bought black dress shoes in a while he’s due, let me get an extra pair for him. It’s that personal for me.  So is contributing to the positive appearance of our downtown, we are located in the historic Arcanum Hall.

We love being a part of this community which in Italian is Commune, a contraction for COME UNO, which means AS ONE.  So we’d like to thank our SOLE family and welcome new members with a little gift.

4. Our Italian shoes are handmade and handpicked during seasonal buying trips from small to medium family-owned factories, generations old. Using the highest quality leathers and in the latest and fashion-forward styles.

5. Working with these quality factories we have developed our own SOLE brand line for men, women, and children!

6. Our expanded brand collection includes shoes from Spain, Brazil, Israel, Turkey, and Croatia.

7. Our quality and unique shoes have appeared in many publications and are worn by top celebrities.
